About us

We believe that data plays a crucial role in the current transformation of the sports industry.

Meet The Organizing Committee

We come with a strong legacy.

This year’s newly launched Sports Hackdays, build upon two previous editions, which Martin and his former team successfully organized in 2021 and 2022 as legacy of the Winter Universiade 2021 and in collaboration with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and Thinksport.

With the help of Swiss University Sports Foundation and Swiss Olympic a new edition of the Hackdays is in preparation for 2024. This time it is more broadly supported and here to stay...

We formed an organizing committee (see below) and got to work with the amazing support by Mike Kurt (Entrepreneur and Swiss Olympic Executive Board Member) who is building a steering committee in parallel.

Our goal is to bring stakeholders from academia, sport and data analytics industry together in order to spark innovation by building stuff fast.
